Last week, US President Donald Trump wrote on his social media page that George Soros and his “radical leftist son,” Alexander Soros, should be indicted under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) because they support organizations that incite violent protests and riots through the Open Society Foundations (OSF) in the United States.
The American president said, “Soros and his group of psychopaths have caused enormous damage ” to the country. The mainstream American left-liberal press immediately interpreted President Trump’s call as a way to deal with his political opponents, since the Soroses have long supported the Democratic Party financially and ideologically. They are not ungrateful for this, as Joe Biden awarded the elder Soros with the highest civilian award, the Presidential Medal of Freedom, at the end of his term.
“Our mission is to advance human rights, justice, and democratic principles in the United States and around the world,” OSF responded, calling the “threats” against the Soros outrageous.
The law cited by Donald Trump, RICO, was passed in 1970. The federal law was originally intended to combat the mafia and organized crime. Its essence is that not only the perpetrators of individual crimes can be held accountable, but also the entire criminal organization and its leaders, if it can be proven that they committed crimes in an organized framework and on a recurring basis. The law can cover fraud, extortion, corruption, money laundering, and even political influence peddling.
Donald Trump is not the first to speak out against increasingly radical organizations that have now become a political ecosystem in the United States and have extensive international connections.

In a recent analysis, Mike Gonzalez , a senior fellow at the conservative Heritage Foundation, elaborated on what he calls the “revolutionary ecosystem ” of the aforementioned network. He said that this umbrella includes the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement and the American branch of the global network supporting violent pro-Hamas movements. Soros also interferes in elections
Daniel McAdams, executive director of the Ron Paul Institute, said there was a strong case for investigating the Soros Foundation’s possible illegal interference in the US elections. “When I was an election observer in Central Europe in the 1990s for the British Helsinki Group, it became clear to us that the Soros world was manipulating elections and public opinion throughout the region,” he told our newspaper. He added: “Soros’s goal has always been to undermine genuine grassroots and populist movements in Hungary and elsewhere, for the benefit of the globalist elite in the United States and its proxy states.”
According to Daniel McAdams, it was never possible to know exactly where Soros’ money came from. – He called for “open” societies, but never “opened” his own organization to scrutiny. It is possible that his wealth was not made by his “brilliant” investing mind, but rather by the global “deep state”, he believed.
The analyst recalled that decades ago, warnings were made that Soros’s “color revolution” mechanism would eventually appear in Western countries with the same effect: to undermine all populist and anti-globalist voices and turn American cities into hotbeds of far-left chaos and violence. Unfortunately, this has happened, McAdams said. Today, state and local officials supported by Soros are “working day and night” to bring about radical, Marxist changes even at the level of city governments, he said.
“Where the hell did he get all this money and power? Who is really behind it?” the analyst asked, then added: “The biggest question, however, is whether Trump can really shed light on Soros’ corrupt enterprise, or is he himself part of the global elite he promised to fight. Time will tell.”
