Our ninth annual Ron Paul Institute DC Conference is really one for the record books. It is also our nineteenth total conference in our 12 years of existence. With your help and support and participation we have brought thousands of people together to continue to preserve and grow Ron Paul’s message of Peace and Prosperity. And most importantly to pass it down to future generations!
This year was really special and if you were there you know what I mean. We had some real challenges this year with a sudden medical crisis in my colleague Adam’s family that prevented him from being there in person for the lion’s share of the organizing and coordinating with the hotel staff. If I seemed particularly stressed out at times, that was the reason. Thankfully senior fellow Chris Rossini stepped up to the plate, but it was touch and go.
Everyone was super high-energy at the conference and I am not bragging when I say that the most people ever came up to me afterward to say it was the best of all our events.
And the cherry on top was that by my estimation – after a show of hands – a full third of the room was first-time conference-goers. That means that even as we value and even cherish those who are there for nostalgic reasons related to the campaigns, there is a solid contingent of people who are motivated to attend based on Dr. Paul’s post-Congress activities. Even after the hype of the campaigns, Ron Paul’s message remains compelling.
That gives me great hope that we can continue to sustain and expand Ron Paul’s influence into the future.

By the way, speaking of the future of Ron Paul’s message of Peace and Prosperity: The day before the conference we held our sixth annual Ron Paul Scholars Seminar – bringing together 15 upper level undergrads and grad students for a full day “boot camp” on US foreign policy, the Beltway bandits, the NGO world, the military-industrial complex, and much more. We fill in the gaps left by their propagandistic professors.
The lecturers are active journalists, analysists, professors, and practitioners. Thanks to increased support for this program from Ron Paul Institute supporters, we are able to continue and expand this program. We have a video coming out soon to show more about this important program. I hope you will all consider supporting this project in the future.
