In a late March press conference, President Biden said, "there’s going to be a new world order out there, and we’ve got to lead it. And we’ve got to unite the rest of the free world in doing it."
Since then the Biden Administration has made support for Ukraine the center of its foreign policy, even as the US finds itself closer to nuclear conflict with Russia than at any time since perhaps the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962.
